Regional Arts WA – Artist of the Month Jacky Cheng

Friday 26th February / presented by Maxxi May

Today the Regional Artist of the Month Jacky Cheng is here to speak with Maxxi about the struggles she went through as an artist in Kuala Lumpur.

Jacky moved to Australia in order to express her artistic freedom and ultimately, to champion others who feel they have no voice.

Today, Cheng resides in Broome where she uses the medium of paper to not only create beautiful pieces of art but also teach others the power of art throughout Aboriginal communities.
