Award-winning Broome artist Jacky Cheng has been named a finalist in the prestigious Fremantle Arts Centre Print Award, one of the nation’s longest running and richest print art prizes with a prize pool of $24,000.

Cheng’s incredible handcrafted artwork for The Print Awards titled God of Matchmaking and Marriage has been created from recycled Chinese calendar papers hand-woven into a mythical icon believed to pair and bring double happiness into a couple’s life.
