News Awagami Factory

Awagami Factory, Japan

Ever since I heard about Awagami Factory and the opportunity to learn paper making from the masters, I have been rather obsessed with the entire idea of paper-making (making my own paper that is..) and using them to create my pieces. It was an incredible 3 weeks journey learning from Mr Fujimori and the other masters. I'll never look at paper the same way again. So grateful to also learn from Mrs Fujimori about Aizome (indigo) paper dyeing. I'm so in love with this! More to explore and at the mean time, practice, practice, practice.

Future exhibition for this series in progress. Stay tuned!
