Rewrite the Book

I am so  blessed to live in a regional community that embraces community events and participation. This year I've so thrilled to been asked by Kimberley Arts Network (KAN) to facilitate and engage in a community project titled Rewrite the Book . This project was originally planned as part of the Broome Fringe Festival earlier in the year. Like so many other events, the Coronovirus cancelled that and KAN put the Festival on hold until 2021.  However, some events have been developed outside the Festival.  Rewrite the Book asked community members to take a book as their raw material and turn it into a piece of art. The results were fun, quirky and definitely taught me some new tricks. Check out KAN . Listen to ABC Kimberley  - interview with Vanessa Mills.

This project has been supported by the Broome Public Library, the Broome Community Recovery Centre and Regional Arts WA.
