In the Fold

In the Fold is a poignant ode to a complex kinship system that defines relationships based on lineage, age and emphasises respect for elders and hierarchical structures. A deeply personal reflection on relationships and transformation. Like paper remembering a fold, each work gently traces the emotional impressions of becoming. Fold, crease, pinch, stitch, weave; a measured force, an impression that endures. A meditation on tenderness, transformation, and a quiet strength. To fold is to guide with creases, teaching paper how to move, how to become.
