I’m honoured to be part of Monument at Bunbury Regional Art Gallery — an exhibition that reimagines what a monument can be. Traditionally cast in bronze or carved in stone, monuments have long celebrated permanence. Monument brings together ten artists to turn that idea on its head — embracing transformation, impermanence, and new possibilities for art in public space.
I’m deeply grateful to the BRAG team and curators for this opportunity to share space alongside such inspiring women artists featuring Carla Adams, Emma Buswell, Jennifer Cochrane, Erin Coates, Tarryn Gill, Amy Perejuan-Capone, Jenny Scott, Monique Tippett, Emily Wilde and yours truly.
Join us for the opening celebration on Friday, 14 November, from 5.30pm, marking the launch of BRAG’s Birak season program with four dynamic exhibitions: The Good, Angry Underwear, Monument, and Clay on Country.
