Propinquity

Propinquity is an ongoing series of conversations and provocations that traverse personal bi-cultural lived experience. The works consider proximity—both physical and emotional—as a lens through which place, time, ritual and belonging are continually negotiated. The series reflects on the subtle tensions and intimacies that arise from inhabiting multiple cultural positions, where connection is shaped as much by distance as it is by closeness.
